Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (with second division) from a university accredited by the Higher Education Commission
- Speed of 70 words per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typing on the computer.
- Certificate in MS Office from an accredited institute, completed within three months.
Additional Notes
- Candidates with proficiency in Urdu shorthand and Urdu typewriting are preferred.
- Private entities’ 3-month MS Office certificates are accepted upon registration with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other relevant Regulatory Authority.
Examination Process
- Shorthand test in English at a speed of 70 words per minute.
- Typing test in English on a computer with a speed requirement of 40 words per minute.
- Proficiency test in MS Office for eligible candidates.

- Eligibility Criteria: Age concession doesn’t apply to employees of Federal, Semi-Government, Autonomous, and Local Bodies during their tenure in these organizations.
- Equivalence Certificate: Candidates must furnish a certificate from H.E.C or Q.E.D.C during the interview to claim foreign/local qualification equivalence; else, the candidacy cancels.
- Proof of Experience: Candidates asserting experience in private firms/entities must show registration proof with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or relevant Regulatory Authority for the period claimed.
- In-Service Candidates: In-service candidates must secure NOC/DPC from their departments and provide it during the interview process.
- Regulatory Body Registration: Applicants must acquire/register with relevant bodies like PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC before the deadline and present it during the interview.
- Academic Certificates: Candidates must furnish degree certificates with marks obtained/total marks or percentage, issued by the Competent Authority during the interview; CGPA is unacceptable.
- Authentic Information: Candidates should rely exclusively on information from the PPSC website and avoid trusting any other sources.
- Test Locations: Shorthand, typing, and proficiency tests (if needed) will occur exclusively in Lahore.
- Variation in Posts: Fresh applications will not be invited if there’s a change in the number of posts by the concerned department.
